How is MAD funded?
We have an annual membership fee (exceptions apply – see I want to be MAD), which will help to cover the costs of our electronic communication (website and regular news - see MAD News). All other costs will be met through grants and merchandising. A limited range of merchandise is available to order now with more coming soon.
One hundred per cent of proceeds raised through fundraising will be distributed directly by members to the benefactor.
We don’t have any offices or staff – everyone is an unpaid volunteer. We ask members locally to help out so there’s no unnecessary travel expense system.
